SYA NEEDS YOU!
As an all-volunteer organization, SYA cannot exist without the contributions from all members. Participating families are requested to help in some manner. Our most critical needs are for Directors, Coaches and Assistant Coaches. Please take a moment to consider the ways you can help while your child enjoys learning a new sport. SYA sponsorship drive is in full-swing!
Area businesses will receive a mailing from the Sponsorship Committee this month. If you're new to the area --or have a business SYA may not know about -- please feel free to visit the Sponsors page to submit your information.
With the help of community sponsors SYA is able to offer sports programs
to area youth while keeping registration costs to an absolute minimum.
The following positions are currently vacant.
If you're interested in becoming an integral part of the Smithsburg community and want to help shape the future of SYA programs, please contact us at 240-329-3907 or email the Volunteer Coordinator.
Each time you watch a movie at Leitersburg Cinemas (and get your FMC stamped at the box office) SYA will earn One Dollar!! PLUS--YOU will earn FREE POPCORN with FIVE stamps and a FREE MOVIE with TEN stamps! If you've filled your card, (or need a card) visit the Leitersburg Cinemas website and print an SYA-FMC. Stamps from previous or multiple cards can be transferred to a single card at the box office.
